Curetrax is a Toronto-based, clinical-grade digital health platform built for allogeneic stem-cell transplant and CAR T-cell patients recovering from intensive blood cancer therapies. It's comprised of patient-facing mobile apps (CuretraxAllo and CuretraxCAR19) and a clinician dashboard ("Flightdeck" and "CuretraxDoc"), together forming a system for at-home recovery with real, continuous clinical oversight rather than a gap between hospital visits.

The core mechanism is 24/7 remote monitoring: patients wear Garmin devices that stream heart rate, oxygen, steps, and sleep data, supplement it with manual vitals reporting and daily symptom tracking, and get neurotoxicity screening through in-app assessments — all flowing into clinician dashboards with automated alerting when something needs attention. Medication management and multilingual support round out the platform, enabling continuous symptom reporting and biometric tracking that empowers early intervention, faster hospital discharge, and more efficient home-based care.

Pain points to solve

  • Post-transplant and CAR-T recovery traditionally required extended inpatient stays because clinicians had no continuous, real-time way to track vitals and symptoms once a patient left direct observation — complications like Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS), infection, and neurotoxicity (ICANS) could progress undetected between check-ins.

  • Symptom and vitals data collection was manual and fragmented, giving care teams no automated way to flag early warning signs (e.g. fever, hypoxia) before they escalated into emergencies.
